Daily Shepherd is open from
6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday year round. It is closed for the
following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas
Day and New Year's Eve Day.

| What We Offer to You |

- We provide a secure, loving and safe
"home away from home."
|
|
- We serve breakfast, lunch and
mid-afternoon snack each day. These meals meet the requirements of the
Child Care Food Program. They are served family style. A menu is
posted on our bulletin board.

|
- A well trained, child loving staff
will work to stimulate your child to develop his/her potential. 1-8
staff to child ratio.
|
|
- Our morning program includes a
structured preschool time. We follow a different theme each week. Our
time is divided into group time and center activities time. We
encourage all areas of development.
|
|
- We provide a Bible time which
includes stories and songs. We also pray at meals.
|
|
- Children are given an opportunity to
rest daily. A cot, blanket and pillow are provided. Children can bring
a favorite stuffed toy and/or blanket from home if they wish.
|
|
- All children play outside daily
unless weather conditions prevent it.
|
|
- Discipline is handled in a positive
Christian manner on an individual basis to encourage self control,
self direction, self esteem and cooperation.
|
|
- We communicate regularly with parents
by use of monthly newsletters, notes on our door and conference
(usually in March). Daily contact between parents and staff is
encouraged. Parents are always welcome here.
