Mrs. Nannette Wolak was born and raised in a small community outside of Flint, Michigan.  Her and her husband raised 3 children who settled in the Hudsonville area.  Mrs. Wolak is a retired teacher who taught science, math, and reading to 6th and 7th grade students.  She also holds a master's degree in literacy.
